The Choirs were busy after Christmas preparing music for you to enjoy at our ‘Love Is All Around’ event on Wednesday 14th February to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Connect Community Choir and Lytham Dementia Singalong Group, led by Jayne and Phill, along with wonderful artwork from Connect More art and peer support group, with funding from Fylde Council, all joined together for a heartwarming afternoon of singing the community’s favourite songs that feature different forms of love, from the love of your other half, to the love of our friends that support us and the things we love to do.

Many thanks to everyone who helped make it happen from baking cakes to providing community transport to support members living with dementia, and to the Warburtons Community Grant and Progress Group’s Community Investment Fund who helped fund this inclusive, community led event focused on supporting and caring for each other, improving confidence and wellbeing – our physical, emotional and mental health – through the joy of singing together and having great fun losing ourselves in the music and art!
